Pattern: stocking stitch in rounds = every stitch plain; stock stitch in rows = one row plain, one row purl
To make:
With a knitting dolly, or more quickly with a mechanical French knitter, make a tube 35 cm long and approx. 1 cm diameter.
Making up:
Slide the finished tube over the pencil, twisting it into a spiral as you go. If you like, you can attach feathers to the top or just tie a knot.
